The AlphaBlender online service can be used as a keyword phrase generator, an idea generator for domain names, or to permutate any other combination of characters and words you desire! Please provide feedback and feature request here.

Simple Instructions Detailed Information
AlphaBlender generates permutations and combinations of the characters, words and symbols you specify. To blend your own concoction, follow these easy steps:
  1. Enter characters and/or delimited words into one or more of the Character Pools.
  2. Modify the Delimiters if needed.
  3. Click the Blend Now button.
Your blended permutations are displayed in the list. You can page through the list using the paging control at the bottom of the list.
Character Pools:
Character pools can be either individual characters (e.g., "1234AB") or they can contain delimited collections of characters (e.g., "[Aspire ][Brilliant ][Dynamic ][Grand ][Majestic ]"). An atom is either an undelimited character or a delimited word. Atoms are never broken apart during the blending process.

Delimiters:
Delimiters separate collections of characters into words. The default delimiters are the left square bracket ("[") and the right square bracket ("]"). However, you can specify any two characters as your delimiters.

Blending order:
Character pools are blended from right (pool 5 or the last contiguous pool to the right) to left (pool 1). If only three pools are being used, each atom (character or delimited word) from pool 3 is combined in every unique way with each atom from pool 2. Then these combinations are combined in every unique way with each atom from pool 1. The concatenated strings are built in pool order (1 to 5).

Domain Name Permutation Example
For this example, lets assume you like the word "Aspire" and would like to use it for your domain name. You check with your registrar and find that aspire.com is taken...as well as the .net and .org variations. So you decide to search for variations of your word. You first want to try prefixing "Aspire" with all two character combinations of alpha (a-z) and numeric (0-9) characters.

Here's how to use the AlphaBlender control to simplify this process:
  1. Enter all alpha (a-z) and numeric (0-9) characters into the Character Pool 1 field. (You can easily do this by clicking the "+Alphabet" and the "+Digits" buttons above the field.)
  2. Enter all alpha (a-z) and numeric (0-9) characters into the Character Pool 2 field. (You can easily do this by clicking the "+Alphabet" and the "+Digits" buttons above the field.)
  3. Enter "[Aspire]" into the Character Pool 3 field (without the parentheses).
  4. Enter "[.com][.net][.org]" into the Character Pool 4 field (without the parentheses).
  5. Click the Blend Now button.
All 3,888 permutations are generated and displayed in the Blended List area of the control. You can page through this list using the paging control at the bottom of the list.

Most good domain name registrars have a domain name search page that will allow you to copy the names from this list and paste them into a search text-box on their site.
